If you haven’t yet secured your Halloween plans, Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience is putting together a full-on thrilling weekend you can indulge in on October 29 and 30. From a ghostly orchestra performance to a deliciously sinister Halloween soirée, the Van Gogh Experience is celebrating Allhallows Eve unlike any other event in Raleigh.
Don’t miss out on this uncanny weekend: grab your tickets here!
On October 29, spend the evening listening to the spellbinding tunes of the Larkspur Quartet from Duke University. Violinists Myles Bell, Lewis Zhu, Alicia Yang and cellist Jacob Egol will play live classical tunes at the center of the Van Gogh exhibit — alongside 360-degree projections of the artist. The juxtaposition of Van Gogh’s acclaimed pieces with the haunting melodies of Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven, Mendelssohn and Schubert makes for a totally hair-raising performance. The orchestra evening will be from 6 – 9pm, replacing the original soundtrack of the Van Gogh exhibit for one night only.
Your Van Gogh Halloween weekend plans don’t end there: on October 30, a family-friendly party will take place at the exhibit! The venue will be decked out in Halloween decorations to host a caricature artist, a face painter, and holiday-themed pictures for kids to color. And of course, there will be plenty of photo-ops and tons of candy to indulge in. The Halloween party will be taking place at Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience (6240 Glenwood Ave) from 2 – 6pm, so book your tickets while you can!
